THE government has embarked on a study to determine the extent of water hyacinth in Lake Naivasha. Yesterday, the Ministry of Environment said experts have been engaged to research on the impact of the weed. Assistant director David Mutisya said a similar model used in Lake Victoria will be applied in fighting the hyacinth. He was speaking during the ongoing workshop for scientists from various counties.The workshop in Naivasha is organised by the Imarisha Naivasha organisation.
