County assembly members elected at the March 4 general elections countrywide have been asked to work as a team in the quest for their salary increment. Ugenya East county rep Erick Ndonje warned county reps from Nairobi against exalting themselves in the fight for review of pay. “We lead ignorant people who think all their problems should be solved by politicians as opposed to our colleagues in Nairobi whose electorates are learned,” Ndonje said.
