Moi University has suspended senior officials who allegedly interfered with the process of hiring deputy vice chancellors. The University Council took the decision after it was discovered that the suspended officials had destroyed application papers for other applicants for the jobs. One of those suspended had shortlisted only his name for the position of deputy vice chancellor, administration and finance. The council was shocked to learn that applications forwarded by others interested in the positions had been torn and thrown into dustbins at the university...
