Nairobi members want one of their own at Orange helm

ODM leaders in Nairobi county yesterday said that they will front one of their own for the party chairmanship position. The leaders led by Embakasi East MP John Omondi were speaking at a Nairobi hotel. Omondi said the city leadership will lobby party supporters and leaders from other parts of the country to have a party chairman from Nairobi. However, the leaders did not say if they were in support of Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, who has indicated he will vie for the party chairman position. Omondi called for party unity.
