Mwingi residents yesterday missed out on President Uhuru's inauguration ceremony due to ongoing power outage in the region. Many residents were forced to pay to enter premises with generator powered TV sets. “I have never seen a bad day like this one. I did not sleep as I waited for this big day in Kenya. I was very disappointed. The town was in full blackout from 9.00 pm to 9.00pm the following day,” said Muli Muyanga in Mwingi town.
