PRESIDENT Uhuru Kenyatta spent his first day in office at State House in Nairobi in meetings with Deputy President William Ruto. The two also held talks separately with visiting heads of state and governments and diplomats who paid them courtesy calls at State House after attending their inauguration at Kasarani stadium on Tuesday. Uhuru has instructed that he will conduct virtually all his activities jointly with Ruto because "he wants to run an open and transparent Presidency"...
