Orange cuts rate to attract more users

Telkom Kenya which operates the Orange brand has slashed its calling and short message service rates to in a bid to boost sales. Calls form the Orange network to others will now cost Sh3 per minute down from Sh4 per minute. It has also reduced the SMS rates from Sh2 to Sh1, a 50 per cent cut. The cost of Orange-to-Orange calls, including to Telkom fixed line, calls will remain at Sh2 per minute.
