THE Tea Board of Kenya has been petitioned to find a lasting solution to tea hawking in Nyamira County. Bogichora County representative Beauttah Nyaporo yesterday said tea hawking will kill the tea industry in the area. “If hawking is not addressed, tea factories in the area might collapse because most of them are operating below capacity,” said Nyaporo, a former journalist.
