Mob lynches suspected thief

NAMBALE Villagers yesterday lynched a suspected thief. Micah Wesonga, 40, was burnt to death after he allegedly stole ten iron sheets from business man Austine Barasa. Area chief Moses Opiyo said Wesonga had gone into hiding for four days after the alleged theft but was later found by the villagers. Police officers took the charred remains of the deceased to Busia District Hospital Mortuary. Opiyo condemned the villagers' and warned them against taking the law into their hands
