Eburru Secondary School in Naivasha has been closed down after students went on strike to protest alleged sexual harassment by the headmaster. Ministry of education officials were forced to intervene after the over 300 students in the day and boarding school took to the streets demanding intervention. Teachers in the school of have been accused of sexually assaulting students for the past eight years, especially during evenings. Some of the teachers have been reported saying they are aware of the encounters but fear giving out details for fear of the school head...
