KWS to open Sh100 million forensic lab

The Kenya wildlife Service Sh 100 million forensic laboratory will be opened this year. KWS assistant director in charge of devolution and community wildlife service, Ben Kavu, said the laboratory is under construction at the KWS headquarters in Nairobi and is being equipped. He said it will assist them have concrete evidence when prosecuting wildlife criminals in court. “The laboratory is still under construction but will be opened anytime this year,” Kavu said.
