AN Italian citizen residing in Kilifi was on Wednesday charged in court with using abusive language against his neighbour. Cress Gulio was charged before resident magistrate Edgar Kagoni Matsigulu with offensive conduct that is conducive to a breach of peace. He is alleged to have called his neighbour at Kilifi plantation estate a prostitute on April 9. The court was told Gulio called Scherazaile Rita a prostitute after Rita protested over the accused's habit of burning garbage in the open, thus polluting the environment.
