FIVE senior Nairobi County officials were yesterday charged with conspiring to defraud the former City Council of Nairobi of Sh3.45 million. Senior acting procurement officer, Vicent Kamenya, Simon Mokaya, Jacob Amon, Samson Kigen and Jeremah Mrittah are accused of planning to steal the money from the council between July 12 , last year and March 28 .
