Party loyalty splits counties

Politician Josephat Mulyungi wants measures taken to stop county governments from going back to the one-party rule. Yesterday, Mulyungi said if not checked, most of the 47 county governments which belonged to particular parties could undermine multiparty democracy. He said civil societies must be funded to keep the county governments in check.
