POLICE are investigating an incident where 20 bags of relief food meant for flood victims were found hidden in a store. The police have arrested a businessman selling the maize who said he was working with local chiefs in North Kadem location. The food was distributed by government and donors meant for more than 600 households who are camping at Nyora and Kabuto Primary Schools. “We got wind of the scam after locals reported the businessman to the police after their numerous reports to locals chiefs didn’t bear fruit,” police chief Richard Bitonga said...
