USAID gives blankets to Kakamega

More than 2,100 orphaned and destitute children in Kakamega county received blankets from a USAID project of Aphia plus over the weekend. The children from Siaya, Butere and Khwisero districts converged at Manyala market where they received the donation from Bushe Community Based Organization. “We have more than 2,500 children under Bushe children’s program. We have put them in our feeding program, and pay their school fees,” said Bushe director Christine Makokha.
