A family at Matarmat village in Kipkelion West constituency, Kericho county lives in agony over their daughter’s rare condition. Pastor David Korir’s family says acacia thorns measuring two inches have been coming out of Sheila Chebet’s left knee and hand. Korir says the infection started in August 2012 and to date a total of 130 acacia thorns have come out of Chebet’s body. The girl has dropped out of school due to her condition.
