A man was yesterday sentenced to four years in jail after he pleaded guilty to impersonating a doctor and obtaining Sh2,500 from a patient by false pretence. Festus Njuki pleaded guilty before principal magistrate Tito Gesora. Chief inspector David Gitonga told the court that Njuki obtained the money on March 22 from Frida Kaberia at Kenyatta National Hospital. The court heard that Njuki ushered Frida into a room and told her he could take an X-ray of her sick baby. He took Sh200 from her for registration and Sh2,300 for the X-ray.
