POLICE at Namanga border town yesterday intercepted a lorry ferrying 63 sacks of bhang worth Sh3.75 million. The lorry had a foreign registration number plate and was ferrying oranges. The police manning the road block insisted on inspecting all the goods and found the bags of bhang stacked underneath the oranges. Confirming the incident, the area deputy police boss, David Mburukwa said the police suspected the lorry was ferrying illegal goods because the driver and his turn-boy started behaving in a queer manner...
