Senators have called for the formation of an oversight committee to check and examine accounts of county governments. Members are considering setting up county accounts committees and county investments committees to examine expenditure and investment policies of the new government. CAC will audit expenditure accounts while CIC will audit investments in the same manner as PAC and PIC does for the National Assembly.
