Deputy National Assembly Speaker and Sotik MP Joyce Laboso yesterday lost her mother. Rebecca Laboso, a prominent farmer and former councillor, died at Nairobi Hospital. Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi broke the news to MPs when they convened for a session yesterday afternoon. “Mama Laboso passed away at 1pm on Wednesday at Nairobi hospital where she was rushed after developing complications from a disease she has been suffering from since November 2012,” Muturi said.
