MPs increase number of committee members

THE National Assembly has passed amendments to the Standing Orders that increase membership to departmental committees. The amendments were in the proposal by the Procedure and House Rules Committee brought to the floor of the House by committee chairman Moses Cheboi. The changes were effected on the standing orders 177 on the Select Committees, 205 on the Public Accounts Committee and 206 on the Public Investments Committee to increase the number of members by 10.
