Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo is dead. Mutula Kilonzo passed on at his Maanzoni lodge on Mombasa road, earlier today. The cause of death is unknown.Mutula recently played a prominent role in Raila Odinga's petition, which the Supreme Court dismissed, challenging the IEBC's declaration of Uhuru Kenyatta as the president-elect. He was one of the senior leaders of the Cord coalition. Mutula was the immediate former minister of Education in the Kibaki government.
