Amateur Boxing Association have backed the changes introduced by the world boxing body, saying they are blessing in disguise to the local boxing fraternity. ABA chairman, William Kameta yesterday specifically singled out AIBA’s move to raise the maximum age from 36 to 40 years, saying the decision had breathed a new lease of life in local boxing.
