NYAMIRA Senator Mongare Bw’Okongo has opposed the list of county executive nominees. He said other leaders were not consulted before the list was presented to the county assembly by Governor John Nyagarama. “I was shocked by the list because as elected leaders, we were not consulted and we reject the list,” said Bw’Okong’o. He added: “The process should have been open and transparent to ensure accountability.” Bw’Okong’o said he will team up with other elected leaders to oppose the list of the 10 nominees.
