VIHIGA governor Moses Akaranga yesterday asked the police to deal with rising crime in the county. Akaranga said incidents where women are attacked by youthful gangs are on the rise in the region. “The security situation is getting worse in the county and we must all stand up and play our rightful roles effectively,” Akaranga told a public function in Luanda constituency. Akaranga said parents play a key role in security matters and asked them to counsel their children against crime.
