A gardener was yesterday arraigned before a Kibera court charged with stealing over Sh800,000 from his employer. Protus Chimasi, 42, was charged with committing the offence on April 27 at Lavington area in Dagoretti Nairobi. He stole Sh190,000, US $ 5,300, two cheque books and petty cash box all totaling to Sh850,050 from Bill Parkinson. Police claim the stolen property came into Chimasi's possession by virtue of his employment.
