MPs yesterday unanimously engineered the first attempt to disband the Salaries and Remuneration Commission through a petition tabled in the House by Mithika Linturi. The Igembe South MP called for the arrest and prosecution of the commissioners for more than 18 counts of violation of the constitution. “The purpose of the petition is based on the need to protect the constitution of Kenya as citizens.
