Residents of various parts of Mombasa have been hit with an acute shortage of pipe water as the rains hit the coastal city. Flash floods have been experienced in various parts including Kisauni, Bamburi, VOK, Kisimani and Bombolulu where residents have reported the acute pipe water shortage. Solomon Zuli, a VOK resident, told the Star that they have not had piped water for close to a week now. “This has been compounded by the fact that we are experiencing flash floods.
