The government plans to help Changaa and Busaa dealers to form cooperatives and get funding to establish quality, healthy and well packaged traditional liquor. The plan will be implemented by the National Agency for Campaigns Against Drugs and Alcohol Abuse (NACADA). CEO of NACADA William Okedi who is visiting the counties says Changaa and Busaa are no longer illegal drinks in the country but the main concern now is the unhealthy and poor quality of the drinks produced by quack brewers.
