The Embu Lands executive Josphat Kithumbu has exonerated himself from blame for the failures of the county Lands Management Board. Speaking to the press at Mutus Secondary School yesterday, Kithumbu said he was not responsible for the nomination of the nine board members. MCAs have threatened to sack him when the county assembly resumes sittings after the December recess. Kithumbu said eight members of the board were nominated by the National Land Commission in September last year after interviewing 44 residents who had applied for the job.
