THE Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development yesterday said digital content is ready for the One-Laptop-One-Child programme . President Uhuru's Jubilee government has pledged to provide one laptop to every class one child come January next year. Deputy director Basic Education Reuben Nthamburi said the institute is about to carry out an ICT needs assessment both in secondary and primary schools as a way of putting in place mechanisms of availing content to the laptops that government will procure. “By June, we shall pilot the digital content of five subjects in primary schools," he said.
