Sokoni nominates 5 to Kilifi North CDF

SOKONI ward in Kilifi North constituency at the weekend produced a list of five nominees for the CDF committee after weeks of infighting. The nomination of the five representatives had been cancelled three times after the participants disagreed on the method to use. The election was held on the last of the 45 days stipulated by the CDF Act 2013. The Act provides that the MP must hold public forums to elect the members to the CDF board within 45 days from the day of taking oath of office.
