THE Senate committee on National Security and Foreign Relations has summoned the National Intelligence Service director general Michael Gichangi to shed light on the security situation in the country. There has been a spate of insecurity countrywide with criminals attacking Kenyans in Garissa, Bungoma and Busia counties in the last few weeks. Yesterday the Inspector General of Police David Kimaiyo was in Garissa where a solider was killed and several other people injured by unknown people.
