Western provinces’ regional security team have completed profiling a list of suspects believed to be in possession of illegal firearms in Busia and Bungoma counties. Those whose names are on the list are suspected to also be behind the recent wave of attacks in the two towns and are said to have gone underground. The state will on an undisclosed date launch a crackdown to confiscate the said weapons. Tensions are still high in parts of Western after the wave of attacks that left close to ten people dead and injured hundreds. Schools have however opened although parents had earlier hesitated...
