The body of a girl who disappeared two days ago following heavy rains in Baringo has been retrieved by the Kenya Red Cross. The 14-year-old girl’s body was found at River Lawina Mboo in Sangarao location in Baringo. However, a 45-year-old man who went missing with the young girl is yet to be found. Speaking to the Star in Baringo yesterday, Red Cross Rift Valley regional officer in charge of disaster management Kennedy Mulama said the rains have displaced many families and led to loss of lives.
