Eighty six percent of Kenyans support the decision by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission not to review the salaries of Members of Parliament and do not support attempts by the legislatures to disband the commission a survey of Ipsos Synovate reveals. The opinion poll by Synovate also shows that majority of those opposed to the pay demands by MPs, 56 per cent feel that it is unfair for the legislators to ask for more money at a time when many of Kenyans are living in poverty.
