Inmates at Kamiti to make Senate furniture

Kamiti maximum prison industries department has for the second time been awarded a furniture contract by government. The prison was last year commissioned to make seats for the new-look parliament. It charged the government Sh200,000 per seat which was half the price quoted by other suppliers then.
