Mushroom farming in Kenya is not common and this could be due to the fact that it is a delicate endeavour which requires a lot of attention especially when planting or spawning as it is referred. Peter Kibe had been growing oyster mushrooms in Molo since 2006 until a year later when the 2007 post election violence disrupted everything. "Molo region was among the areas affected by the violence that hit the country and people were forced to disperse.
