Machakos governor-elect Alfred Mutua has settled for other premises after rejecting the offices he had been allocated at the former municipal council building. Mutua will take up the well secured former Horticulture Development Authority facility, about a kilometre from Machakos town. The office has not been used since it was commissioned in May 2004. Last week, workers started renovating and upgrading the facility which is considered to be among the most secure in Machakos town.
