Murang'a reps walk out of swearing-in ceremony

DRAMA unfolded yester- day at Ihura stadium during the swearing-in ceremony of Murang’a county gov- ernor Mwangi wa Iria as 35 county representatives walked out of the event. The civic leaders were an- gry because no seats were reserved for them at the stadium. Kangari ward representa- tive Anderson Muchemi said they felt belittled by the oversight. “We cannot accept to be ignored like that in a pub- lic event .
