A 68-year-old man who allegedly sodomised a two-and-half year-old boy in Thika district has been charged in court. Daniel Macharia appeared before principal magistrate Daniel Orimba to answer charges of assaulting the boy. He allegedly committed the offence on March 18 at Kagaa village, Wempa location, Maragua, in Murang’a county. He was also accused of indecently assaulting the minor by touching his private parts. Macharia was remanded in custody until May 19 when hearing of the case will begin. Prosecution was led by Chief Inspector Josephine Wambua.
