Kenya’s winded procurement procedures and complicated land acquisition processes are delaying progress in construction of one-stop-shop border posts. This is manifested by Tanzania’s Holili border post premises which will be complete by June, while in Kenya the Kwale border post is still at the initial stages of construction despite both projects receiving funding at the same time.
