AN activist has raised concerns over several police roadblocks mounted on Nyanza roads. The Kenya legal defense fund executive director Philip Jagero said the roadblocks have become points of collecting money by traffic police officers through corruption. Jagero said the police officers have deviated from their roles and were now indulging in money minting sessions. “They do not carry out their mandatory police checking and instead engage the conductors of the public service vehicles in corruption by collecting money from them,” Jagero said...
