Neem roots block Mombasa water

Water pipelines in Nyali and its environs have been blocked by neem tree roots, which are preventing the smooth flow of water, Mombasa Water Company has said. Managing director Alome Achayo said this has caused the acute water shortage experienced in Nyali and other parts of Mombasa for the last two weeks. “Theses tree roots have grown in the pipes over some time.
