THE Jubilee government has been urged to start campaigns on cornea donation. Optometrist Jayaram Ankala said the government should collaborate with the private sector to in the campaigns across the country. He said there is an increasing number of the blind people in the country yet their conditions are treatable. “There is need to have a concerted effort both from the government and the private sector to promote cornea donation,” Ankala said.
