Twenty six year-old Michael Mwaniki Kimani is among hundreds of young Kenyans who have benefitted from the DT Dobie and Company Kenya Limited apprentice scheme. He joined the scheme in 2005 and after training for three years he was employed by the company as a Mercedes diagnostic technician. His responsibilities include checking and repairing the electrical, engine, gear box, doors and window systems of Mercedes Benz vehicles.
