Ten election petitions challenging the outcome of governor, senator and women representative in Garissa will be heard in Nairobi. High Court Judge David Majanja informed parties of the decision to have the cases heard at the Milimani Law Courts. Majanja said there are only two law courts in Garissa and it will not be possible to have the cases heard in the town. Two of the cases are challenging the election of governor , five against MPs, two for women representatives and one for senator.
