Malindi District hospital is faced with huge accumulating debts which cannot be paid because of financial constraints. The debts are reportedly caused by the expansion and modernisation of the health facility at a cost of more than Sh280 million in the last three years. The hospital medical Superintendent Hafswa Jin said the state of the hospital required intervention. “We have huge debts of electricity and water.
