The National Alliance nominated senator Emma Mbura has vowed to use her leadership position to fight for Coast residents. Mbura said the region has lagged behind in development as a result of marginalisation. She said despite civilisation starting at the Coast, coastal communities have been denied opportunities to advance in education.
